Rockbox 3.0
Yay! Rockbox guys finally released a stable rockbox release after 3 years. In fact, I’ve been using it on my veteran iPod 5g for almost 3 years. So, it was rocking the house big time over the past years already.
But it is always good to name a revision ‘stable’. Apart from new features, support for new players, and to be able to call a project ‘mature’, it is also stylish, huh?
If you don’t know what the heck Rockbox is or you wonder why somebody wants to use it as a primary firmware in his audio device, you should directly dive into website. There is plenty of information and an extensive manual for each player plus a wonderful community there! What else do you expect from an open source project?
And your iPod will definitely be so cute with Pen & Paper theme.
Ready to install? Go for it!
